A geologic melange is composed of a diverse mixture of rocks, full of varied textures, colors, and compositions. The melange necklace is inspired by this juxtaposition of elements. A mixture of textures, shapes, and sizes within a restrained color or minerallogic palette creates a dynamic strand that is full of tiny little interesting surprises. Beads size generally ranges from 6-10mm, but sometimes there are a few surprises; strands are approximately 18 inches and fastened by a oval lobster clasp in sterling silver (aquamarine, moss agate, dark blue) or 14k gold-fill (pink, tiger’s eye, garnet).
