The Far West Collection

My wanderings across the landscapes of Far West Texas, from crisp mornings in the Chisos Mountains to blazing sun tempered by brisk dips in Blamorhea, have inspired a new collection. This remote realm of Texas is somehow simultaneously both sparse and rich, seemingly so hard-scrabble as to be indestructible, yet full of delicate wonders:

the stars at night,

landforms carved by deep geologic time,

plant life uniquely evolved by and for this place,

songs and creatures drifting across the Rio Grande.

An unwanted and unwarranted wall threatens to bisect the tranquil roughness of this land. This collection is an expression of my love for Far West Texas, and a show of support for the defense and preservation of the Big Bend community.
